The VApril challenge was created with one objective in mind – to encourage smokers to quit through vaping. The VApril Challenge team and Action on Smoking and Health 2017 estimate that 1.5m UK smokers can quit through vaping.
Backed by everyone’s favourite doctor, Dr Christian Jessen – he joined forces with the UK Vaping Industry Association last month to launch the UK’s first ever vaping education and awareness campaign. The objective was simple: “Put down cigarettes for a month, take the VApril Challenge and give yourself the best chance of quitting smoking for good.”
Whilst it might be too early to see the benefits of the challenge at the moment – all of us at Adact are delighted to see such a positive and innovative initiative taking place here in the UK. We look forward to see what comes next.
